Stafford Castle
Immerse yourself in the history of Stafford Castle and explore their motte and bailey system. Follow an informative trail to learn about the history of the castle as well as the surrounding land, such as their impressive herb garden. Once you’ve enjoyed your time walking around the grounds, the visitor centre has hands-on displays including armour and costumes, as well as gifts and souvenirs to take home.
Erasmus Darwin House
Located in Lichfield, you can visit the home of doctor, inventor and poet Erasmus Darwin (1731 – 1802). The beautiful Georgian townhouse includes fascinating information about his life, as well as hands-on exhibitions and a lovely herb garden to stroll around.
